A 16-year-old in North Texas is accused of using artificial intelligence to generate nude images of another child and uploading them to TikTok. TikTok alerted the NCMEC that a user had shared the images, and the NCMEC passed the information to Celina Police, which initially believed the user lived there. Information about the user's internet provider later led investigators to Parker County. Deputies executed a search warrant on Oct. 1 and learned the user was 16 years old. During an interview, the teen reportedly confessed to taking photos of a younger child and using AI to alter them. Evidence indicated photos of at least three other victims were used, and investigators identified all victims and notified their families. The suspect has been charged and now awaits juvenile court proceedings.
