A Tesla Model X was being driven with Full Self-Driving (FSD) engaged when it crashed into a wall. The driver was Raffi Krikorian, former head of Uber's self-driving program, who was on his way to drop his son off at a Boy Scouts meeting in San Francisco. He reported that the steering wheel jerked and the car decelerated unexpectedly, and he took over the wheel, but the car still collided with the wall. The vehicle was totalled. He said he had a concussion and no one else was hurt. Tesla requires drivers to supervise FSD and be ready to take over. Tesla did not respond to a request for comment.
