Severity moderate: test: the likenesses of third-party journalists and their outlets were used in fabricated videos, with scope bounded to the three stated videos

Three videos circulating on social media showed senior Indian journalists apparently reporting that Bihar NDA leaders were under investigation for funding Pakistan's PTI. The clips used the likenesses of Ravish Kumar, Palki Sharma and Shiv Aroor. Fact-checkers found that no such reports appeared on the journalists' or outlets' official platforms. Reverse image searches traced the backgrounds and attire to genuine broadcasts from 15 and 20 November 2025. AI voice and video detection tools flagged the clips as likely synthetic. Fact-checkers concluded that the audio was AI-generated and added to unrelated original videos, and that none of the reporters made the statements attributed to them.
